I consider this class 100 level (200x core) and a "must step" for any theatre and film courses.I have to teach it in other classes, since most likely it's the first aesthetics course for my students in DramLit or Film & Drama (see CLASSES directory).
The textbooks are good -- and very expensive.
Although, there is a plenty of free texts and images online!
Do you want to know more about drama?
[ classes ]Dramatic Literature and Playscript Analysis Go to theory directory! Yes, on acting! 24hour-act, acting, audience, auditions, directing, director, rehearse, system, warmups and more![The images on my pages are from Lycos Gallery and free for non-commercial use.]
And the classic plays are in public domain.
What is the difference between public, audience ans spectators?
